Instead, we bring our full showroom to you — hundreds of carpet, luxury vinyl tile and wood samples delivered to your home so you can see them in your own light, against your walls and furniture. It's a more relaxed way to choose flooring and it's completely free.

We'll bring samples to you and quote for supply, fit and any subfloor preparation needed.

Both Karndean and Amtico are premium British LVT brands and either will outperform laminate or budget vinyl. Karndean tends to lead on natural wood and stone replication and offers the popular LooseLay range. Amtico is renowned for its design-led patterns, deep texture and the Signature collection's striking decorative laying options. The right choice usually comes down to the specific décor you prefer — we'll bring samples of both for you to compare side by side at home.

We are a stockist and fitter of Westex Carpets across Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire and London. Westex is a British wool carpet manufacturer based in Cleckheaton, known for ranges such as Westend Velvet, Pure Living and Ultima Twist — heavy-domestic wool carpets built to last in halls, stairs, landings and main living rooms. We'll bring the Westex sample books to your home as part of our free measure.

Yes — Cormar Carpets is one of our most-requested brands across Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire. Cormar's British-made ranges including Avebury, Primo Naturals, Apollo Comfort and New Oaklands offer excellent value wool-blend and polypropylene options for family homes. We bring the full Cormar sample range to your home for free.

Yes. Axminster Carpets is a heritage British weaver famous for traditional patterned and plain wool carpets, ideal for period homes, hallways and stairs across Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire and London. We supply and fit the Axminster range, including their classic woven Axminsters and modern tufted collections.

For stairs we recommend a hard-wearing wool or wool-rich twist pile, such as those from Cormar or Westex — they resist crushing in heavy traffic and look smart for years. Patterned and striped runners from Axminster are also a beautiful choice for traditional homes.

LVT (luxury vinyl tile) such as Karndean or Amtico is a hard-wearing, waterproof flooring that realistically mimics wood or stone — ideal for kitchens, hallways and bathrooms. Engineered wood is real timber with a solid hardwood top layer over a stable plywood base, suitable for living areas. Laminate is a printed photographic layer on a fibreboard core — a cheaper alternative but less durable than LVT and not as authentic as real wood.

Yes — both Karndean and Amtico LVT are compatible with most underfloor heating systems up to a surface temperature of 27°C. We'll confirm suitability and follow the manufacturer's installation guidelines.

Engineered wood is the better all-round choice for most modern homes: it's more stable, suitable over underfloor heating and can be sanded back like solid wood thanks to its real hardwood wear layer. Solid wood remains a beautiful choice for traditional properties without underfloor heating.

Most domestic carpet installations are completed in a single day. LVT and engineered wood floors typically take one to two days depending on the size of the area and any sub-floor preparation needed. We'll give you a clear timeframe with your quotation.

Yes. Lifting and disposing of your existing carpet, underlay, vinyl or wood flooring is included in our fitting service. We'll leave your home clean and ready to enjoy.

Our fitters will move standard furniture as part of the installation. For larger items such as pianos, full wardrobes or beds with heavy storage, we'll discuss the best approach when we measure up.
