Contemporary hotel reception with contract carpet and luxury vinyl flooring

Commercial Flooring

Contract flooring for offices, schools and hospitality

Heavy-duty carpet tile, safety vinyl and commercial LVT — surveyed, supplied and installed with minimal disruption across the South East.

Commercial flooring is judged on different criteria to domestic. Wear rating, slip resistance, fire performance and how quickly a space can be handed back matter more than pile depth. We specify against the actual use of the room rather than the catalogue photograph.

We work with offices, surgeries, schools, village halls, salons, holiday lets and hospitality venues across Surrey, West Sussex and Hampshire. Most projects are surveyed out of hours and installed in phases or over a weekend so the business keeps trading.

You get a written specification, a fixed programme and one point of contact from survey through to handover — including subfloor preparation, uplift and disposal of the existing floor, and certification where the specification requires it.

The range

Choosing the right specification.

Carpet tiles

Modular, heavy-contract tiles that can be lifted and replaced individually. The pragmatic choice for offices and meeting rooms.

Safety vinyl

Sustainable-slip-resistance sheet vinyl for kitchens, washrooms, clinical areas and back-of-house.

Commercial LVT

Heavier wear layers than domestic LVT, with the same design range. Excellent in reception areas and retail.

Sheet vinyl & lino

Welded seams for hygiene-critical rooms, with coved skirting where specified.

Contract carpet

Broadloom and axminster for hospitality, function rooms and stair cores.

Entrance matting

Recessed and surface barrier matting that keeps grit and water out of the floors beyond it.

What to consider

Honest advice before you commit.

Specify to the wear class

Class 33 and 34 heavy commercial ratings exist for a reason. Under-specifying to save on the rate costs more within three years.

Slip resistance is a legal question

Wet areas and food preparation spaces need documented slip performance. We specify products that meet it and provide the data.

Programme around trading hours

Evening, weekend and phased installation is normal for us. We plan the sequence so no area is out of use longer than agreed.

Subfloor moisture and screed

New-build screeds need testing before impervious floor coverings go down. We include the survey rather than assuming.

Common questions

Quick answers.

Do you work outside business hours?
Yes. Most of our commercial installations are carried out in the evening, at weekends or in phases so that the premises can keep operating.
What sort of premises do you fit?
Offices, dental and medical surgeries, schools, nurseries, village halls, salons, holiday lets, restaurants and small hotels across Surrey, West Sussex and Hampshire.
Can you supply fire and slip certification?
Yes — we supply manufacturer test data for fire rating and slip resistance for every specified product where the project requires it.
Do you handle uplift and disposal?
Yes. Uplift, disposal and subfloor preparation are all quoted as part of the project so there are no surprises on site.
How do I get a commercial quotation?
Call 01483 399004 or email info@cranleighcarpetwarehouse.com with the site address and approximate areas, and we'll arrange a survey at a time that suits the business.
